The Cupcake That Didn’t Make It to the Fair
Inspiration often comes in unexpected forms. Here’s what happened with the picture of a delicious cupcake painting. I created it for an exhibition of treats at my granddaughter’s school. The plan was simple – to make a bright picture that would perfectly match the atmosphere of the event. But, as often happens, we misunderstood the format: instead of the exhibition “All about sweets”, there was a charity event with a buffet)) This work of art never made it to that exhibition, but I’m still proud of it. I painted it with acrylics, trying to convey the brightness and texture of the cupcake with special attention to its details.
I covered the strawberries and berries, except for raspberries, with glossy varnish. And the cupcake itself, like the entire picture, I left matte. So, in my opinion, the contrast looks very harmonious: juicy shiny, wet strawberries and the velvety surface of powdered sugar on the cream and around the cupcake. I think it turned out delicious)) Do you like it?
Натхнення часто приходить у несподіваних формах. Ось що вийшло з зображенням смачного кекса. Створила для виставки ласощів у школі внучки. План був простий – зробити яскраву картинку, яка б ідеально відповідала атмосфері заходу. Але, як часто буває, ми неправильно зрозуміли формат: замість виставки «Все про солодке» була благодійна акція з фуршетом)) Цей витвір мистецтва так і не потрапив на ту виставку, але я все одно цим пишаюся. Я малювала його акрилом, намагаючись передати яскравість і фактуру капкейка, приділяючи особливу увагу його деталям.
Я покрила полуницю і ягоди, крім малини, глянцевим лаком. А сам кекс, як і всю картинку, я залишила матовим. Так що, на мій погляд, дуже гармонійно виглядає контраст: соковита блискуча, мокра полуниця і оксамитова поверхня цукрової пудри на кремі і навколо капкейка. Думаю вийшло смачно)) Вам подобається?
